I am Michael Greenberg, and this is my blog. I mostly write about computer science---systems, programming languages, etc. I used to blog at weaselhat.com; all of those posts have been duplicated here. (That's why you might see a weasel in a hat in a few places. It was drawn by my friend, Jeff Wood.)

When the blog ran on Wordpress, anyone could post a comment. There are many interesting and insightful comments, so I've reproduced the comments here. I no longer accept comments via webform---you should email me, instead. Make sure to link to the post you mean to comment on.

I converted from Wordpress by adapting @Swizec's wordpress-to-markdown converter. It delights me that we are four forks deep: a conversion like this demands ad hoc work, but there's a common core. Open source helps! Kudos to @ytechie for getting it all started.

The blog is typeset in Bitter and produced as a static webpage using Zola.
